The battle is on!
Wednesday after work I will be going to my local AT&T store to renew my contract and pick out a new phone. I'm asking for your help peeps!
When the Blackberry Torch first came out and was being advertised on TV I thought I knew what I would get when the time came. I currently have a Samsung Impression which is a touch screen with a slide out full keyboard.

So a Blackberry Torch would be very much the same.

But recently I've seen people in the blogging world that have gotten iPhones and just raved about how much they love them. I also know people who have iPhones and love them. So I've sort of been toying with the idea of getting one myself.

My main concern with the iPhone is that it is a full touch screen. I'll admit I do not use the full keyboard much on my current phone but I do like having the option to use it. Sometimes I do use it a lot.
The Blackberry Torch seems to be the best of both worlds just like my current phone. I can use the touch screen to text or I can use the full keyboard. The Torch will be a step up from my current phone though because it will be a smart phone.
I'll admit I haven't really done research on either phone as the renewal date has kind of crept up on me. Basically in my uninformed mind I see the phones as both having apps and one being a full touch screen while the other is a touch screen with a full keyboard.
I have essentially have two days to make my decision. Help me out peeps! Give me your honest opinions with some pros and cons of both, especially if you were a previous BB owner and now have an iPhone.
I should mention I am an AT&T customer. The iPhone 3GS 8GB is being advertised as $49. If you vote iPhone which one should I get, the 3GS, 4G...I don't know if there are any other options out there. Seriously, I need help.
I will of course be taking the information I learn from you peeps and going over it with someone at the AT&T store to cement my decision.
Tell me what you think and why. I value your opinions!

I would love to help you out Amy and I hear the blackberry is awesomesauce and everyone that buys it loves it. I don't always hear that with the Iphone.
I cannot change my mind and will always buy a nontouchscreen phone.
What do you hear about iPhones that people don't like?? I need deets (details) in order to make this decision Hollie! lol
iPhone. I love my iPhone 100%. We already had this discussion already but ...
Reasons why I love my phone:
1. iTunes/my whole music library on the go. (you can listen to music with your blackberry but its a little more difficult to upload your music and refresh it-- and mostly the music takes up so much memory on the bb.
2. Multitasking. I didn't think multitasking would be something I'd really take advantage of with the iPhone, because my blackberry wasn't so great at it. I absolutely love the fact that I can do different things at the same time EASILY.
3. Browser. I love the iPhone browser so much better than i liked the blackberry one. On my blackberry, if i didn't actually "close" the browser it would KILL my batter. iPhone-- not at all. as soon as you move off the screen it stops putting signal. Additionally you can have multiple pages on iPhone-- but with blackberry i'm not sure that you can(I don't really remember but I don't think you can).
4. Apps. I love the fact that there are a bajillion apps out there as compared to my blackberry. I mean yeah, there were some good apps-- just not many there were good AND free. iPhone has ligit awesome apps that are good AND free.
I know we talked about this yesterday but because I was scatter brained and on duty I thought I'd actually tell you what my thoughts were.
Aw girl you're awesome for leaving me a list of reasons why you love your iPhone. Definitely am taking them into consideration. I'll be sure to let you know what I get tomorrow.
